Varig to Foz (Brazil airpass)

Agentina, I'm not sure)
Brazil side to Argentina side: get off on way back to Foz just after
intersection that leads to Argentina (ask driver where to get off), cross
road, catch bus to Argentina (so marked but be alert and flag down early as
they drive very fast) cost R$2.  Border crossing a mere formality if you
have no luggage, carry your passport, obviously.  Go all the way to bus
station in Pto. Iguazu, buy round trip ticket to park on El Practico bus
(US$4 - dollars and pesos completely interchangable), leaves about every 40
minutes I think.

Restaurant Imperial (Chinese) Av. J. Kubitscheck near about R. Jorge Sanways (+ or - one block), good food, vegetarian friendly

ESSENTIALS:
camera, lots of film, rainjacket useful when very near falls

COMMENTS:
Iguaçu did not disappoint - its an awesome place! Lot's of tourists, of
course, but don't let this deter you.  We spent the morning on the
Brasilian side, which was enough, and the afternoon on the Argentinian side,
which was not enough.  With all the paths, swimming and boat options in
Argentina, a full day is really needed.  Go to the Garganta do Diablo about
1PM, it seems the tour busses are gone then and the sun is just right.
Buses for here (Pto. Canoea) leave visitors center once per hour. Cost
US$0.50.  Boats to overlook cost US$4.00 roundtrip and run every 10 minutes
or so (3 were in service, trip takes 5 minutes) you used to be able to walk
here but  floods wiped out the walkway a number of years ago).  You can
spend about 40 minutes out by the falls and easily catch the next bus back
to the visitors center.
