Be a Hand Carry!

What is a hand carry? A hand carry is when a person is a way of avoiding the excessive and even prohibitive costs of shipping magazines, books, equipment, school supplies, and other materials to and from South America.

The SAE relies on members to carry packages of such materials to the different clubhouses and when possible, return with other goods.

So important are hand carries to the health and welfare of the SAE that we are prepared to reward the hand carrier with a leg pouch, a book, and sometimes even transportation from the airport to the clubhouse for this service.

If you are traveling to or returning from South America with underweight luggage and space to spare, we need you to carry stuff. Please contact the nearest club and let them know as far in advance as possible when you’ll be traveling and more or less how many pounds of kilos you can take with you.

Remember, virtue is its own reward, but virtue plus a leg pouch is even better.

Please email admin@saexplorers.org to help.
