We are open!
We have re-opened the Buenos Aires Clubhouse. Our new address is Chile 557, San Telmo, Buenos Aires! We are open Monday - Friday 9:30am-5pm and Saturday 9:30am-1pm
In addition to the new location, we have a new manager - Phil Appleton! And he's a great guy, stop by to say hi!

Presentation
Reflecting the style and culture of our surroundings, the BA Clubhouse events are tailored towards art, culture and gastronomy and we follow a regular program of gallery hops, beer and wine tastings as well as the odd cinema or theatrical performance here and there. Football matches and tango tours can also be booked every day through our clubhouse and as such we ensure that those all important elements of BA life are factored into your city stopover.

Music is my Sanctuary
A great night of music for a cause - Music is My Sanctuary is specifically set up to raise money for 3 orphanages (http://www.querubines.org.ar/), and the proceeds go to make certain structural repairs to the orphanages which at the moment are below government standards. If they don't pass inspections they will have to close. Enjoy this night out with 7 bands at a location close to the clubhouse.

Five-a-side Football
After 21 of us descended on the Boca stadium to watch Argentina's most popular football team, there's been a big call for an SAE five-a-side football team! Members will play against teams from around the world, and of course against some great local talent. Will we finally have that England vs Argentina quarter final? Will the USA make it all the way? Will we have a group of international all stars against Argentina's finest making it into the finals? Come and make it happen! baclub@saexplorers.org

Boca Juniors Football Matches
Number 1 on the list of "50 sporting things you must do before you die" (Guardian Newspaper) is to watch Boca Juniors play River Plate (11/7/10). This is the ultimate footballing grudge match, and to pay tribute to the start of the season, we will be holding events surrounding the sport. First we shall watch Boca, Maradona's old team, play in weekely excursions to their famous home ground. Other events shall include tours of the stadium and you can participate in your own 5 a side match tournament against local teams. Email us to tick this "must see" off your list.

Spanish Conversation Class
Take advantage of our "members go free" in house Spanish conversation class, and learn together with nice people and a great teacher. There is a basic class at 4pm, and an intermediate class at 5pm. Space is limited, so please RSVP if you wish to join our lovely teacher Cristina Gioveni.

NGO International Food Night
This International Food night is not only a culinary treat for anyone who misses authentic dishes from home, or your favourite foods from other stops on your travels. It is a chance to meet with local NGO's and find out about their projects that are happening across Argentina which you could assist. It will be a fun night out with fantastic food, a great way to meet people and discuss voluntary opportunities, while supporting a valuable cause.
